Introduction

Fisheries Ledger, provided by Roohan (roohan.me), is an offline-first bookkeeping app for fisheries workers. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data lives where and what is collected.

Your ledger — on your phone only

All entries (income, expenses, credit), names, amounts, photos and settings are stored only on your device.
We cannot see your ledger, do not keep it on any server, and never sell it.
The app lock PIN is stored as a cryptographic hash — the actual PIN is never saved.
Deleting the app deletes all of your data — backups are your responsibility.

Analytics

To improve the app we may use the following services:

Firebase Analytics (Google): usage events (which screens are opened), device model, operating system, approximate region. This never includes your ledger amounts or names.
Firebase Crashlytics: technical crash reports so we can fix defects.

Purchases & subscriptions

Some features may require payment. Billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play and validated by RevenueCat (an anonymous app user ID and receipt information). We never receive your card or bank details. Details: RevenueCat Privacy Policy

Photos

If you attach a picture to a category, it is stored only on your device.

Children

This app is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
